Description of the company
- Pollution Solution are the IP owners of a system that removes deadly fossil fuelled fumes at the source. The patent is held globally. 2 channels are installed in a roadway 1.2m-1.5m apart and slow moving or stationary vehicles straddle the channels which are located just 30cm below the exhaust pipe. The system sucks the fumes from the vehicles through the channels & into a roadside cabinet that contains a fan & filters, the fumes are cleaned to a level of 99%. 97% of fumes can be captured.

Description of the solution provided
Deadly fossil fuelled fumes contribute greatly to ill health and mortality. The pollution solution system removes fumes at the source before they are inhaled or pollute the surrounding environment. The system is installed at congestion hotspots and sucks the fumes from vehicle exhaust pipes.
Competitive advantages of the solution provided
The solution is the only system that can be installed in the roadway, all other systems are roadside installed and are ineffective as the fumes are inhaled or dissipate before they are captured.

The Pollution Solution system can be installed outside of schools or anywhere there is congestion such as traffic lights, roundabout approaches, taxi ranks, bus stops etc. The above image produced through CFD analysis clearly demonstrates the movement of fumes and the effectiveness of the system (Top image system off, bottom image system on) The targeted fumes are particulate matter (PM) and NOx and the system has a capture rate of 97%. Description
The Pollution Solution system can be installed at fast food drive thru lanes where cars idle for prolonged periods whilst waiting to collect their orders. Idling times have increased considerably during the COVID pandemic and waiting times in excess of 30 minutes are not uncommon. The fumes from idling vehicles enter the serving hatches affecting staff members, they also enter the following cars poisoning the occupants and the surrounding residents.
